The Leaf Village prospered after the akatsuki were defeated and with its new hokage Naruto. It continued to prosper up until his death. It had a slow period after this were it did not grow as much as its rival villages. But after an attack 100 years ago it jump started back to prosperity. And now it is one of the strongest villages in the world again. And in cunjuction with Rain and Sand 9 Years ago it created the Unity Village.
