Shikinatsu walked through the woods, finding a nice spot in a small clearing. The sun barely peeked out from behind the giant oak tree canopy, casting a great shadow that made you feel very small. a stump sat in the middle of the spot, right where the sun hit. It was there that Shikinatsu sat, opening his book, plopping it on the stump, and reading. This was his world. The second he opened up the pages of even the most unfamiliar book, Shikinatsu felt right at home. wither home be in some fairytale castle, with a princess waiting for her prince, or with a foul ogre, about to eat his prey. "The best journey you can take, is the one in between the two covers of a book." His father always said. It was then that Shikinatsu always felt relaxed. Hearing the crinkle of parchment, the smell of ink on paper, the feel of the hardcover of a book, set his mind free. It was during reading that Shikinatsu usually spaced out, and forgot everything that was happening around him, instead lashing his mind around the stories in front of him. And it was today that that was exactly what he did. ((Can you tell that i like reading?))
